How we got here

I had a few moments in my career where I was burnt out and constantly overstimulated, so I was trying to find a different career that would bring me joy. During this time, I had taken in some of my clients that didn’t have time to wait all day for their pups to be groomed and some that didn’t like the overwhelming amount of dogs at other salons. I had slowly started to fall back in love with dog grooming the more I did it in my home. The calm environment, the feeling of not having other dogs waiting to be started, and knowing that all my love and attention was on the dog I had in front of me was such a wonderful feeling. After I regained that passion I once had, I started getting everything ready for Penny’s Pretty Paws.

Our purpose

We want to bring our clients comfort and peace when you bring your dogs to us. Not only do you not have to worry about your pups being reactive with other dogs, but they get done start to finish so no waiting around. Aside from a few mandatory cuddle breaks, your dogs groom doesn’t stop until they are done! We wanted a space where you don’t have to worry about your dog interacting with other dogs or being anxious by having overstimulating surroundings. Our goal is to create a relationship with you and your dog, we want both of you to enjoy coming into our salon and to leave knowing it is a safe place. Being one-on-one is a luxury not many places offer and we want to be able to give you an option where your pup is our only focus!
